ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN A SEMESTER: THE STORY OF AN AMAZING SUBJECT.

There are several types of subjects... Of course, there are the obvious ones, the ones which everybody had cursed in their lifes, or (it´s true) most of people, such as Maths, Science, English, Religion... But there are some others which actually can change things.

These subjects are not in the first years of your educational life, you need to get caractheristics such as some mature (But not too much), responsibility and consciousness. After eighteen non long years, finally I´ve met one of these subjects. It´s name is Communication and participation of the civil society in the Internet.

Long name right? Well, there is a possiblility that after reading the name, you could think that this is a freak thing or something like that. Personally, I don´t think so, but what I actually think is that freakiest things are bad interpreted. They could be really cool things, in fact.

But Ok, let´s focus guys. This subject has not only spoken about things that we can do on the Internet, and advantages which we could get. We have received some life lessons. I´ve always wondered when change could arrive to our world. Well guys, after this course, I know that Change is possible, NOW. If I would have to describe this subject in one world, I would clearly say ACTIVISM. Because guys, if there is something that you don´t like, you can change it.

There are several types of activism, but they all are one. They all are looking forward to change, so it doesn´t matter if they are (ciber)activism (Which by the way are each and every measure against an injustice on the Internet) or so others. They are like the Weapons of Justice, and we are the Hounds. Guys, there is no problem without solution; it doesn´t matter if it has a household, national or even international impact. If you´ve got the problem guys, you only have to know how and where you can search things to eliminate this problem. And remember guys, you´re not alone. Maybe you can´t make greater things on your own (or maybe yes) but the key is that with people, this change is actually possible.

As I said in the title, anything can happen in a semester. You can give subjects, or you can live them. Guys, problems are waiting for us. Just let´s give them the fight they want. Let´s just fight against injustice. Let´s fight for our ideas, and even for ourselves. Change is possible.

something that we have to fight for, but it is also something which is worth fighting for.

BULLING: TOO MANY WAYS TO SAY IT AND ONLY ONE TO SOLVE IT

Guys, this time I´m going to speak about something that is poisoning our society: The disrespect to people. This is something that happens every minute, every hour, everyday. But when did this phenom of disrespect start? I don´t know exactly; but if we look to a human being´s life, the disrespect to other human beings starts in our beloved childhood. This disrespect is called bullying.
We all know what bullying is. Bullying is every type of maltreatment or abuse to a children (It doesn´t have to be in a physical way strictly, it can also be in a psychological way). The fight against bullying is growing up with the born of the Internet and new social networks with platforms which tried to end with this abuse to children.

But we don´t have to go to Internet to see a tool which could help us in this "Antibullying war": We can just went to a library and searching the right book. "I don´t wanna go to school", "I am afraid" and some other books are just a few of the enormous quantity of books which we could take information.

But this is not all. Let´s think about organizations, let´s think about BE A STAR, an organization which fights against bullying. There are so many ways of seeing how this company actually works. You can see it in those links right here. (They are on Facebook and on Twitter)
https://community.wwe.com/diversity/programs/be-star

And, finally, we won´t lose this "Cinemactivism Movement" thing. There are movies. And I want to highlight one of them: "That´s what I am". This movie tells the story about Andy Nichol, a kid who, in the middle of his teenage experience, will have to deal with all of these bulling problems. You can´t miss it guys. Here it is the sneak peek:

Now guys, these are the tools. If we want to solve it, we depend on ourselves. Like Be a Star would say: "Don´t be a bully. Be a Star. Show tolerance and respect".

THE BOBS

There is a question which is bringing so much controversy in Turkey for several days: Who should get the power? And the fact is that there´s happening a confrontation according this previous question. We´ve got two sides: The Government, which answers “We should”, and the people, the ones who vote, who say “We, the people, should”. They think that they are the ones who vote, so they are the ones who should decide who is going to be in charge. But reality could not be like that.
It all started on March, 30th 2014. Local elections had taken place, and the result wasn´t clear at all. There are some suspects about a possible manipulation in the elections result. While AKP won the elections, the opposition, also known as CHP, says that it has evidences about this manipulation. They say that over 6.240 ballots could be manipulated either modified. These accusations could have had a huge impact on Turkey society, which nowadays believe that they are not helping to create the Government, but they are being cheated.

And the fact is that this movement has spread above the country, creating not only a blog, but also a MOVEMENT. The name of the blog is Oy Ve Ötesi. This blog is Turkey´s voice, this is what Turley wants: A free elections, without lies and without any manipulated result. Only in Istambul, over 33.000 helpers are ready to take this elections in a fair way.

Each year, the Bobs take place. These awards are for the best blog ever, and there are so many categories. I´ve selected the best Social Activism category, because that´s exactly what this Cinemactivism Movement is all about. And if you want to change this world, the first thing you have to do is to have a good and appropiated Government. Turkey can get it, and if they do, the change of this world will start. "SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE: THE MOVIE OF REVOLUTION"

Guys.. Time has come! Cinemactivism Movement is officially on!!!! I must say, at first, that this is a huge step, so this first movie had to be at the height of the events (You, of course, will be the most important opinion of all. Shoot me, but not to kill, please). I´ve been thinking about this for several days and, finally, I´ve decided to start with a movie which I personally have called it "The Movie of Revolution". I´m speaking about a 10 Oscar nominee movie, and a 8 Oscar winner. I´m speaking about "Slumdog Millionaire".
I think that everybody knows what this film is all about: An Indian boy with, apparently, no talent, who decides to participate in the famous game show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" for a reason which will surprise and feel thrilled to the spectator. Throughout the film, we will watch all the important events which take place in the main character´s life, who by the way is called Jamal. These experiences will help us to understand the story and also it will give us an amazing psychological analysis of the characters. But, will Jamal get the goal? Will Jamal achieve the prize? As I said, I will make no spoilers, so the answer is on the movie.

Besides, let´s think what this movement is all about. This movement wants to get a change in society, it wants to create heroes to help us to get this change. Spectator will know in the end of the movie, that Jamal could be one of this heroes. But sorry, guys, Jamal is not real, but we are, and we must change a certain number of things. Specifically in this movie, there exists injustices such as traffcking in minors, kids who are kidnapped just for having a future such as beggar or prostitute. If we had to highlight something about the movie, it would be, obviously, poverty. But there exist other problems such as rich ones superiority, at least in this movie, where they try so hard to prove that they´re better than Jamal and company.
What is the solution? At first, I would like to say that this blog don´t pretend to be better than anything or anyone, and it doesn´t demand people to be just like this blog says. This is just an OPINION. By the way, it would be good to receive your comments and to participate in everything you consider.
But ok, we´re in Spain and I think I´ve got (Obvious) solutions. Right here, it is true that rich ones don´t do the same than in the movie, but it is true that there is a little bit of superiority idea (I don´t want to specify, don´t worry). But for you, if any of the rich ones are watching this blog right now.. Guys... Help us! We need you, and no, it is not your money in this case, we need your influence, we need your power, but not for selfish reasons, we need all of this things because we need the change, and you are related to power, even sometimes you are the power! So, guys, help us, it is in your hands....
.....But not only in your hands. People who are not so rich also can do something about it. Guys, don´t be spectators, don´t be just people who see what happens and they do ANYTHING. Guys, answer this call. Injustice is calling, and we have to answer. Fight for what you believe in and don´t let others tell what it it right and what it is not. If we all cooperate: rich ones, poor ones, old ones, young ones, handsome ones, not so handsome ones, funny ones, sad ones, smart ones... We all can do it. It´s time to fight with Fear. It is our greatest enemy and we need Golden Heroes. And you could be one of this heroes if you believe so.
Now, coming back to the cinema, I highly recommend you to see the movie, not only for topics which I said before, just because it is a movie that with not so much money, it has amazed the world. You got me, right guys? ;)

INTRODUCTION

Ladies, Gentlemen, boys and girls from all over the World... Let me introduce to you.... the Cinemactivism Movement, a Movement which will be improved right here, on this website, and a movement which I hope each and every one of you could be part of it. I really hope you colud learn a lot and you could enjoy even more.
But there´s a question we need to solve... What Cinemactivism Movement is? Well, let´s think at first in the meaning of the word "Activism". Activism means "Each and every meauseres used for fighting against injustice". Well, that´s the point, this is what I want; I want to prove to the world that WE can fight with injustice in a funny and educational way: We will have Cinema´s help.
On this site, I want to post stories about heroes, fighters... characters who hadn´t ever given up until they had achieved their goals, without caring about victory´s price. I really hope that these movies, in most of cases not based on real stories, could create true heroes so brave enough such as step up and, together, fighting for a better world, a world deserved to be occupied by us.
Now, there are two things I want to say:
-First: Cinemactivism Movement can speak in two languages, so we will enjoy each and every posts in English as well as in Spanish.
-Second: I will publish posts weekly, but there won´t be no spoilers. We will have sneak peeks, reviews and, above all, opinion about why each and every story can belong to the Movement, and how, getting inspired by them, we can improve our world.
Greetings:
Sandro Meco (First, hope not last, member of Cinemactivism Movement)
